Zilin Zhang

Masters candidate in Robotics Systems Development at CMU. She graduated from University of Michigan with a BS in Computer Science and has a dual degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in ECE. She has research experience in computer vision, and biomedical signal processing. At CMU Robotics Institute, she researched shared autonomy for caregiving robots. She developed and simulated shared autonomy algorithms based on reinforcement learning models to build a framework comparing performance between multiple algorithms and different robotic caregiving scenarios. Zilin also has consulting experience for hospital human resources and electronic manufacturing with McKinsey & Co.
