Jehan Yang

PhD candidate specializing in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). With a solid foundation in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (ME & EECS) from UC Berkeley and an advanced MS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, His PhD is in assistive robotics in healthcare, with a special emphasis on aiding individuals afflicted with full motor-complete quadriplegia. Jehan’s notable contributions include pre-clinical robot trials featuring advanced prosthetic legs that mimic natural human movement. Additionally, he has championed pilot trials where robots undertake tasks like feeding, manipulating blankets, preparing meals, further expanding the potential of robotics in everyday caregiving. His expertise in hardware and embedded systems has been pivotal for D.Sole.
